WHAT OUR COMPANY IS

Wear Your Scars is an emo-driven streetwear brand for people who’ve lived through trauma and found healing in the music that understood them. Our clothing blends raw emotion with bold design—creating apparel that feels like your favorite lyrics, your deepest scars, and your loudest silence. Inspired by the emo, post-hardcore, and alternative scene, we design for people who wear their truth unapologetically. This brand is more than fashion—it’s a movement where trauma isn’t hidden but worn like a badge of survival.

Founder’s Statement

A few years ago, I almost died. I was on a ventilator for 5 weeks where I suffered multiple strokes. When I woke up, I was paralyzed—only my fingers and toes could move. I spent 116 days in the hospital, and every one of them felt like a battle. What got me through wasn’t just medicine. It was music.

When I didn’t want to keep going, when everything felt too heavy, music gave me something to hold on to. It made me feel seen. It made me feel not alone. Bands like A Day to Remember said things I didn’t know how to say myself. Sad songs made me happy—because finally, someone else understood the pain. Even if my friends didn’t get it, the music spoke for me when I couldn’t speak for myself.

I still live with the trauma. I have severe PTSD, but music helps me manage it—and now, I want to help others manage theirs.

I can’t write songs or sing, but I can create something people can wear. Something that connects them to the feelings, lyrics, and memories that helped them survive. That’s what Wear Your Scars is. Some of our designs are heavy, some are funny, some are weird, but they’re all about one thing: healing out loud. Because if we’re all suffering on the inside, why not be honest about it on the outside?
